I fought the wind and the wind won

First I have to mention two forgotten highlights of Michigan and Wisconsin. First of all it was great to meet up with Caleb in the little town of Gladstone, MI. Although our visit was short(he camped one night with us), it was definitely sweet. Thanks to the world cup, we avoided a major storm while watching the game in Ashland, WI. Our adventure cylcing maps directed us south through a scenic biway towards Fargo, ND. We enjoyed seeing all of the lakes Minnesota had to offer. Yesterday we encountered our first day of headwinds, they are not fun. The next 320 miles of ND are scaring me but KT reminded me that I signed up for an adventure, not a vacation. I'm sure we'll push through it. I just hate losing and there's no winning with a headwind. Gotta run. Computer is shutting down.

    Hey glad to hear you had a couple of nights on the inside, aren't people wondeful. Hope you have a safe journey and keep the posts coming, very interesting.

    Hey! ND I remember it being long & flat. Boring... Hope that works for you. So looking forward to seeing you. Ty would love to meet you if that works. I told Sam if it works out that he will ride out to meet you, Ty would like to be his partner. So keep us informed. I have supplies for Orange-Ginger Margaritas when you get here. Any other request? Tom's Family reunion at Lake Five is the weekend of July 23-25. If you are in time for that, great. Other wise we'll greet you at our house (remodel choas). I thought about calling the Hungry Horse News about your adventure. If you aren't okay w/that let me know. They may not be interested in your story, but I sure am....and so will others.     Thanks Lynde! Ty and Sam and anyone for that matter is welcome to join us. We'll give you a call when we get closer so we can talk about meeting spots. My mouth is watering thinking about those tasty margaritas. Can't wait to see you. Probably won't make it in time for the reunion but we'll be there shortly after.
